Ontario Election

Okay, first, why do people campaign about creating jobs? Or at least, why conservatives? People who have jobs don't need more jobs. People who don't have jobs are likely to vote for a socialistic government anyway. Or maybe I missed something.

Anyway, I much prefer the Conservative platform to the Liberal platform (this aside is all I'll say about the NDP). However, I do not want the people who are running the conservative campaign to represent me. Any time they try to make a valid point, they go and blow it (The "Liberal Plan to cut class size cannot be done in their promised budget." -- okay, sounds good, I'll vote Conservative, but wait -- "Because Dalton McGuinty has a pointy head" -- WHAT!? I want some lame ass school yard bully as Premier? I don't think so.)

So... I'm still undecided. The PCs make more sense, but they're jerks. The Liberals will not do what they promise, so it's a gamble if they can recover the fumble.

Ideally, we'd have a liberal Ontario government and a Conservative federal government. Alas, it's the other way around, and I think that causes too much trouble. I think Liberal-Liberal might be better than what we have now.

I hate politics.

That's why I lost a few good jobs at museums in Toronto. I hated all the BS I had to put up with.
